Retail Building In Darien Sells For $1.5 Million

DARIEN, CT — A 3,164-square-foot retail building in downtown Darien has been sold for $1.5 million, according to an announcement from Houlihan Lawrence Commercial.

Located at 873 Boston Post Road, the building houses Aquarius, a women's clothing store, and Darien Station Variety.

"The building sold for $1.5M and the buyer will enjoy the income that is generated from two tenants with long-term leases and solid local businesses," an announcement from Houlihan Lawrence said.

The buyer was ELD Street Properties LLC, information from the Darien Assessor's Office says. The buyer was represented by Kim Galton, director of retail of the commercial division for Houlihan Lawrence.

The building was previously owned by 873 Boston Post Road LLC.
