Saint Luke’s Church Hosts 5K Run/Walk to Fund Service Projects in Cuba
Saint Luke's "Run with the Saints" 5K Run/Walk takes place November 6

From Saint Luke’s Church:
DARIEN, CT - Saint Luke’s is hosting “Run with the Saints” a 5K Run/Walk on All Saints Sunday, November 6th, 2016. The run is being held to raise funds for important service projects the church is funding in Cuba in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese of Cuba. As the US embargo begins to lift, Saint Luke’s has taken an active role - helping to rebuild schools, churches, and those programs that support education and development programs – many of which were driven underground after the revolution. Specific efforts include water purification projects in remote villages, rebuilding church infrastructure, developing a youth camp and retreat center, and sponsoring hundreds of youth campers to attend national teen camps.
The run will start at 11:30am on November 6th at Saint Luke’s Parish 1864 Post Road in Darien and will be followed by a picnic lunch, included in registration fee. Signup in advance here or in person on the race morning. For more information, click here.
