Stamford Man Accused Of Making Threats Against Former Employer, Darien Police Say
Police said messages from the arrestee "escalated from innocuous to threatening in nature."

DARIEN, CT — A Stamford man was arrested on Aug. 16 after Darien police say he made threats against a former employer.
Stamford police assisted Darien authorities in finding Michael Rybl, 29, who was charged with first-degree harassment, a felony, and second-degree threatening, a misdemeanor.
On Aug. 15, Darien police officers met with an individual at police headquarters regarding threatening messages he received from a former employee, identified as Rybl, police said.

"The victim provided evidence, including screenshots and voice messages, which escalated from innocuous to threatening in nature," police said.
Rybl was released on a $10,000 bond and given a court date of Sept. 15, according to police.
