The Connecticut State Police beefed up their presence on the state's roadways during this year's holiday season, and the results are in. Here's the state police tale of the tape for the period from Dec. 20 to midnight on New Year's Day, according to state police Lt. J. Paul Vance: <ul><li>1,040 hazardous moving citations</li><li>560 speeding citations</li><li>84 accidents investigated</li><li>18 accidents with injuries</li><li>18 DUIs</li><li>16 seatbelt citations</li><li>0 fatal accidents</li></ul>
