Firefighters Battle Blaze At Residence In Durham

DURHAM, CT — Firefighters were summoned to a house fire on Middlefield Road Friday morning.

The state Department of Transportation indicated that Route 147 is closed at Route 17 due to the structure fire. The road closure was reported Friday at 10:40 a.m., according to the DOT.

As of early Friday afternoon, officials had not yet released information on the extent of the damage, if there were any injuries, or the cause of the fire.
