2. Exalted Ruler On March 30, Robert A. Chadd, a longtime Durham resident will be taking office of Exalted Ruler of the Middletown Elks Lodge 771 in Middletown, CT. Tickets for his installation including a dinner/dance are available for $25 each. (choice of Prime Rib, Chicken Marsala or Stuffed Cod)

4. Sprint Into Spring Have you registered for the Middlefield Lions Club's 2nd annual Sprint Into Spring event at Peckham Park? This great fundraising event will be held on Sunday, April 14 at 8 a.m. Runners can participate in 5K or 10K, which is walker-friendly. Head here for more details: www.sprintintospring.com.

5. Easter Flower Sale This Thursday through Saturday the Durham Middlefield Exchange Club will be selling Easter Flowers at the Strong School parking lot. Snow or Shine. Thursday 3-6, Friday and Saturday 8-6, and Sunday 8-noon. Tulips, Lillies, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Pansies, Mums, and much more. Stop by and support a local fundraiser that supports Durham and Middlefield!
