2. Durham Fair Carnival Worker Arrested According to a report in the Middletown Press, a carnival worker at the Durham Fair was arrested after he punched his girlfriend, who also happened to be a carnival worker.

33-year-old Scott Clark, who is homeless, allegedly hit his girlfriend, who is also homelesss, after she didn't respond to his text messages, the report says.

Clark faced a judge Monday and pleaded guilty to the assault charge, the paper reports. He was sentenced to six moths probation and ordered not to have contact with the victim, the report says.
