Durham Fair Volunteer Struck By Rock, Injured
A Durham Fair volunteer was injured when someone threw a rock.
DURHAM, CT β A Durham Fair volunteer was struck by a rock and injured over the weekend, according to state police. Police said they received a report of the incident Sunday at 2 p.m.
The volunteer was working at the Monster Truck Event and was hit by a rock thrown at their calf/ankle. The volunteer received medical attention at the time due to swelling.
The injury worsened during the week and the volunteer sought additional medical attention. Following an X-ray, the volunteer was fitted with a boot.
