Durham Landscaping Company Re-Beautifies Sugarloaf Terrace

A Durham landscaping company stepped up this week to bring some beauty back to Sugarloaf Terrace.

On Tuesday, Country Landscaping donated mulch, plants and labor while redesigning three courtyard gardens at the housing complex located in Rockfall.

"I thought it would be a nice thing to give back to the community," said owner Nick Onofrio.

Workers pulled weeds, replanted perennials and even added some new plants to the gardens before covering them in a fresh layer of mulch.

"We live in town and we support the towns. It's not just about turning a profit, it's about doing good things. We're passionate about what we do so it's nice to show people what we do," Onofrio said.

Onofrio has owned the business for over a decade and supports several charities through the company.
