Durham Landscaping Company Re-Beautifies Sugarloaf Terrace

Country Landscaping owner Nick Onofrio talks with Patch about giving back to the community.

A Durham landscaping company stepped up this week to bring some beauty back to Sugarloaf Terrace.

On Tuesday,Β Country Landscaping donated mulch, plants and labor while redesigning three courtyard gardens at the housing complex located inΒ Rockfall.

"I thought it would be a nice thing to give back to the community," said owner NickΒ Onofrio.

Workers pulled weeds, replanted perennials and even added some newΒ plants to the gardens before covering them in a freshΒ layer of mulch.

"We live in town and we support the towns. It's not just about turning a profit, it's about doing good things. We're passionate about what we do so it's nice to show people what we do," Onofrio said.

Onofrio has owned the business for over a decade and supports several charities through the company.

Country LandscapingΒ is a full service landscaping company that offers everything from hydro-seeding to masonry to planting. You can "Like" the business on Facebook or find more information on the company's website.
