Lauren Donnelly of Durham and Destiny Helmedach of Middlefield recently helped lead the Connecticut Shoreline Sting 14U Blue softball team to the GROWS Spring Bash championship.
The tournament was played in Watertown on June 8-9.
The team defeated Tradition twice, shut out the Cheshire Wildcats and was victorious against the Connecticut Hornets in the championship game.
