Durham Resident State Trooper's Report

Public safety stats for March 2013.

The following information was provided by First Selectman Laura Francis at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Monday, April 8.

529 - calls for service

7 - criminal investigations

9 - motor vehicle accidents (0 with injuries)

88 - motor vehicle infractions

28 - warnings issued

0 -  DWI

State Police investigated three domestic incidents and one larceny of fuel oil from a residence. Police also investigated a suspicious incident at Strong Middle School and an assault at Coginchaug High School. Other: Trooper Paul Gunn will be temporarily taking over for Trooper Pete Digioia. 

Traffic enforcement was conducted on the following roads:

Route 68 (near Pent Road)

Route 157 (near Skeet Field Point)

Pent Road

Route 17 (near Strong School and

Route 77 (near Schuler Lane)

Route 79 (near Sand Hill Road)

Parmelee Hill Road (near Saw Mill Road)
