Firehouse Five to Play Jazz in the Firehouse

The
Firehouse Five will be featured performers in Jazz at the Firehouse, Saturday,
April 20, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Durham firehouse. Organizers promise a
family-friendly evening of fun, music and food.

The
Firehouse Five are five accomplished student musicians, two from Coginchaug
Regional High School. Jack “The Hat”
Riotte and Lindsay Artkop have performed in school events, at the Durham Fair,
and Jack has sat in with such popular groups as Eight to the Bar. They are
joined by Miles Livolsi, Michaela Coppola, and Chris Dorsey.

 



The
event is sponsored by the Durham Democratic Town Committee and continues a
committee tradition of featuring local musical talent. Chili
tastings, cornbread, macaroni and cheese and desserts will be part of the
evening. 



Tickets
at $15 for adults and $3 for children under 12 are available from Town
