On an afternoon when temperatures hit 90 degrees, it was hardly a surprise that the Durham Farmers' Market's coolest vendor was busy.
Twenty minutes after the market opened Chet's Italian Ice had already served a dozen cups of the frozen treat, including servings of lemon-rosemary.
"We had a line before we even set up," said, Vinny Dimauro, whose brother owns the New Britain-based company.
Chet's Italian Ice also serves mango, strawberry, classic lemon and coconut flavors.
The Durham Farmers' Market is held each Thursday on the town green from 3 to 6 p.m.
