'Kaylee, Will You Go To Prom With Me?'

Coginchaug High School junior Jeff Peracchio managed to ask his girlfriend to the prom without actually asking her.

As Patch found out Saturday night, Peracchio posed the question in a series of posters attached to telephone poles along Hubbard Street in Middlefield.

Kaylee Powers saw the posters on the way home from dinner.

"I had no idea what was going on. I didn't see it coming at all!," she said.

It's safe to say her answer was 'Yes!'
