Local 4-H Members Awarded Trip

Emily Yale of Branford and Bailey Basiel of Durham, both members of the Jolly Ranchers 4-H Club in Durham, have been selected to attend the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, GA in November as Connecticut State Delegates. 

To qualify, the teens had to submit an application and complete an interview with the State 4-H office to attend the leadership forum.  Emily and Bailey are two of seven teens awarded this all-expense paid trip to attend workshops in leadership, philosophy and research in areas such as agriculture, environment, community, families, youth/children, communications and technology.
