On Thursday morning, Mark Weaver settled in to his seat in the parking lot at Lyman Orchards' Apple Barrel and began to paint.
The Branford artist considers himself an on site landscape impressionist. His focal point on this day was the giant willow tree that shades the patio of the market.
"This something I've done ever since I was a little kid," Weaver said. "I just enjoy it."
