Man Charged With Hitting Middlefield Employee With Car: State Police
A man was arrested on charges that he intentionally struck an employee with his car at the parking lot of a Middlefield business.
MIDDLEFIELD, CT β A Norwalk man was arrested on charges that he intentionally struck an employee with his car at the parking lot of a Middlefield business, according to state police. State police were called Monday at 8:57 a.m. on a report of an active disturbance.
Troopers were told that an employee allegedly "struck another employee with a motor vehicle in the parking lot in an intentional and reckless manner."
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The injured employee told state police that they had been struck while attempting to prevent an employee, who had resigned his position, from taking a company vehicle.

Jeremy Jordan, 41, of Norwalk, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, use of a motor vehicle without permission, and disorderly conduct.
He was released on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Middletown Superior Court on Dec. 22.
