How did you come up with the name?

Laurie and I thought Take 2 Karaoke and Disc Jockeys would suit us well since we met singing karaoke at a local establishment in 1996.

Why start a business in this town?

Starting a business in Middlefield gave us the opportunity to an extra income as well as provide a small town service that is affordable to residents in search of a professional and fun entertainment experience.

What business are you in?

Mobile Disc Jockey Service.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

Actually, advertising online can become quite an expense that can pose a challenge to a small business budget. Thus, appreciating and relying on word of mouth from previous clients has become beneficial.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

Our proudest achievement since opening is maintaining a friendly client relationship with those we served so well, especially after meeting with couples about to embark in marriage that hired us for their wedding reception entertainment. Today’s day and age we can follow them thru social media and watch their families grow. We get to see it all the time. What’s better than that? It’s a happy business!

How does your business give back to the community?

Since our son Darin is in the Regional District 13 School System we have entertained at schools events and for other charities and benefits outside of town.
