Good morning Durham and Middlefield! Here are a few things to start your day off.

  1. WEATHER: We're back to some seasonal temperatures today with temperatures at a high of 68 degrees in Durham and Middlefield. It's also going to be sunny. It then dips down to the 40s tonight and back up to 66 degrees tomorrow. More on Weather.gov.

  2. A tabby cat was found on Royal Oak Drive in Durham. Check the photo in our Boards section.

  3. The Region 13 Board of Education will be meeting Wednesday evening, Oct. 9, at John Lyman School at 7:30 p.m.

  4. There will be a knitting club meeting tonight at the Durham Public Library at 7 p.m. Details here.

  5. The Middlefield Planning & Zoning Commission will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
We previously reported that the Board of Education meeting would be at Coginchaug High School. It is actually at John Lyman School. We have corrected the error.
