Multiple Brush Fires Reported In Middlefield

MIDDLEFIELD, CT — The Middlefield Volunteer Fire Company said local crews along with mutual aid from Durham Volunteer Fire Company, Westfield Fire Dept and South Fire District Firefighters IAFF Local 3918 are operating at multiple brush fires along the railroad tracks in town.

The fires are contained and there are no hazards to any residence, officials said.
