Report: Durham Nursing Home Fined $2K by State
Employees at Twin Maples Health Care Facility failed to implement proper safety measures during a virus outbreak this spring, a report says.

A Durham nursing home has been fined $2,000 by the Connecticut Department of Public Health for several violations during an outbreak of viral respiratory illness at the facility, according to a report by the Connecticut Health I-Team.
The violations occurred in April at Twin Maples Health Care Facility, the report says, during a period in which half of the facilities patients were sickened and four patients died of pneumonia.
The full report can be found on the CT Health I-Team website.
