State Police Issue Arrest Warrant for Middlefield Man

State Police have issued an arrest warrant for a local man who crashed his car into a utility pole in Middlefield in January.
David Ferrari III, 22, whose last known address was 429 Cherry Hill Road, is wanted for violating terms of his probation.

According to police, Ferrari was behind the wheel of a 2011 Nissan Juke, on Jan. 29, when he lost control along Cherry Hill Road and hit a utility pole near Strickland Road. He was arrested after the crash on motor vehicle violations and released.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Ferrari on March 13.

According to police, Ferrari was on probation at the time of the crash after pleading guilty in October to operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol.
Ferrari received a six month suspended jail sentence and 18-months probation and was fined $500 in that case.
