Time is running out to enter the Coginchaug Football Club's “The Blue Devil Golf Ball Drop," a fundraiser aimed at helping the team raise money to buy equipment for players and cheerleaders.
On August 31, a helicopter is going to drop 1,000 golf balls onto the football field. The golf ball closest to the target will win $1,000. The second place prize is $500 and a third place prize of $250 will be awarded.
