• East Hartford man's criminal history sparked SWAT response to 911 call, warrant says (greenwichtime.com) — An East Hartford man with a history of domestic violence is facing multiple charges after a tense SWAT response to a 911 call at a Rocky Hill apartment earlier this month. Police say a regional tactical team, K-9 unit, drone and tear gas were used before the suspect surrendered, and he is now being held on bond with a court date set for February.
