33 Apply to Be East Haven Assistant School Superintendent
School superintendent hopes to have the assistant superintendent job filled by July 1st; she said there have been 33 applicants for the post

EAST HAVEN, CT - Ever since School Superintendent Erica Forti was elevated to the top position from her previous number two position in the school system last year the assistant superintendent of schools post has been open.
Well it looks like that position may soon be filled - but it won’t be filled by someone currently working in the East Haven school system.
At the most recent Board of Education Personnel and Finance meeting, Forti told school board members that there were 33 applicants for the position. She said she has narrowed the 33 applicants down to six finalists who will be interviewed with the goal of having someone hired by July 1st.
