East Haven's Cabaret on Main Theater Announces Powerhouse 'Steel Magnolias' Cast

EAST HAVEN, CT —Cabaret on Main Theater announced the cast of playwright Robert Harling's American classic, Steel Magnolias. The community theatre production by Broadway on Main Theatre Company, is presented as part of Cabaret on Main 's newly launched Signature Series.

The production is presented by Broadway on Main Theatre Company and will run March 6 through March 22, 2026 at Cabaret on Main Theater in East Haven.

Set in a small-town Louisiana beauty salon, Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling spans three years in the lives of six women whose enduring friendship carries them through life’s greatest joys and deepest heartbreaks, a media release from the theater reads. Celebrated for its sharp wit, emotional honesty, and unforgettable characters, the play remains a timeless tribute to resilience, humor, and the strength found in community, it's noted.

Steel Magnolias is directed by Neil Fuentes and Nick Rapuano and produced by Billy DiCrosta.

Cabaret on Main’s cabaret-style setting places audiences close to the action, allowing every laugh, tear, and moment of connection to resonate deeply.
