Albis Nominated to Seek Another Term as East Haven Representative

Albis was recently nominated by the Democrats to seek a fourth term. Two years ago he narrowly held onto the seat after a recount.

EAST HAVEN, CT - Representative James Albis has been officially nominated to run for re-election in 99th assembly district in East Haven.

“It has been a great honor representing East Haven in the legislature,” Albis said. “East Haven is a community in the truest sense of the word. We band together to help when something goes wrong; we prop each other up when we achieve successes; and we encourage each other to reach for the improbable, because we believe that hard work should yield opportunities for all of us. I hope to earn your support to continue to fight for this amazing East Haven community at the State Capitol.”

Albis, a Democrat, won a close election two years ago against Republican Big Steve Tracey. Albis had to survive a recount to hold onto his seat. He won by 9 votes.
