Another One In Race For Mayor in East Haven - And It's Not Maturo
Another Republican candidate has announced he will be running for mayor of East Haven; that brings the number of announced candidates to 3.

EAST HAVEN, CT - The field of candidates running for mayor of East Haven this November is getting crowded and none of those running is even the current one holding the job.
Sal Maltese told the New Haven Register he is in the race for the town's top spot. Maltese who has sought the spot as a Democrat and and Independent, told the Register this time he will run for the seat as a Republican.
He joins "Big Steve" Tracey, who is also an announced Republican candidate and Councilman Joseph Carfora, who is the only announced Democratic candidate so far.

Republican nine-term incumbent Joseph Maturo, Jr. has yet to decide whether he'll be seeking a record-breaking 10th term.
