Anthony Camposano Announces Run To Become East Haven Mayor

Today, lifelong East Haven resident and community advocate Anthony Camposano officially announced his candidacy for Mayor of East Haven.

Running under the bold campaign motto “Make East Haven Livable Again,” Camposano vows to restore trust, transparency, and accountability to town government while standing up to outside interests threatening the health, safety, and character of the community.

“This administration is out of touch with residents and has built a reputation of misleading the public and hiding information.” Camposano said. “For too long, East Haven’s leadership has failed to fight for its residents. This administration continues to cut services, increase taxes, but give themselves raises.”

Camposano’s campaign centers around three core promises:

Put Residents First: Restore services and spaces that the Town has taken away under false pretenses.
Demand real accountability from town officials who’ve lost touch with working families.

Protect Our Community: End backdoor deals. Fight for the health, safety and quality of life of our residents.

Make East Haven Affordable Again: Keep money in residents’ pockets. Stop wasteful spending, starting with Town Hall. If average East Haveners don't get a pay raise, neither does Town Hall.

A project manager in the construction industry, Camposano brings real-world experience solving problems, managing budgets, and getting things done. He’s a father, homeowner, and a vocal advocate for responsible government.

"This campaign is about fighting for working families, seniors, and future generations. Big changes are coming, I can’t wait to get to work."

Camposano will be hosting a town-wide listening tour over the summer to hear directly from residents about their concerns, hopes, and vision for East Haven’s future.
