Back To School Around The Corner, But Lots Of Schools Jobs To Fill

From academics and athletics to social workers, sub teachers and support staff, there are scores of jobs available at East Haven schools.

EAST HAVEN, CT — School opens in days, but according to the East Haven school district, there are still many jobs left to fill. From athletics and activities posts to cafeteria positions, myriad teaching spots and more than a dozen schools support staff roles are yet to be filled.

For example, lunch monitors are needed. The 10 to 12-hour a week gig pays $15.69 an hour for the 10 months of school. There are around two dozen paraprofessional posts open. And myriad teaching and instruction positions across the district, math to science. There's also a number of other support staff posts open including data admin and substitute teachers are always needed.
