Shea Carasone is Looking Forward to Leading the Easties.


Meet Shea Carasone Captain of the East Haven football team. A multi talented player. He can throw , he can catch, he can kick and he can run. In 2019 he played varsity at the receiver position and was well on his way until the 2020 cancelled season. Now it is 2021 and after watching him in practice he is ready to have a breakout season. The Easties schedule is not weak so Shea and his teammates will be giving 100% every week! Let's meet Shea Carasone.

How many hours a week in the preseason are you working out?
In the preseason I usually workout 24+ hours a week
How hard was it to stay focused when last season was cancelled?
It was really hard to stay focused with everything going on. Sports are my whole life.
Were you into sports when you were little?
I started playing sports when I was four years old.
Future Plans: I'm still figuring out what my future plans are but some things that interest me are playing college football and studying criminal justice, or enlisting in the military.
Who is the person or people that keep you going when the times get rough?
The people who keep me going when times get tough are my mother (Jamie Carasone) and my sister (Jenna Crisafi).
Who is your favorite sports player?
My favorite sports player is Christian McCaffrey.
What is your favorite song to listen to prior to competing?
Thunderstruck by AC/DC
What is your favorite movie about sports?
Remember the Titans.
What is your favorite dinner?
Macaroni and Sauce.
Favorite Snack before or after games?
Bacon egg and cheese.
Greatest moment on the field…
My greatest moment on the field was blocking the field goal against Jonathan Law.
Advice to younger players -
My Advice to young players is to enjoy every moment because it goes by too quickly.
