Bibs Out: East Haven Chamber's Lobsterpalooza Returns For 13th Year

EAST HAVEN, CT — If it has 'palooza' as its suffix, you know it's going to be a blast. Get those bibs out, it's that time of the year. The East Haven Chamber of Commerce Lobsterpalooza 2024 event is set for Aug. 21 at Anthony’s Ocean View.

In its 13th year, the 2024 theme is a throw-back.

"This year we're throwing it back to the groovy 1970s with music by the legendary Timmy Maia! " organizers said. "Get ready to indulge in a culinary experience at an evening by the water like no other. Lots of appetizers, your choice of lobster or steak along with different kinds of salads and pastas, BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, chowder, a dessert station, the list goes on."

Tickets will be available starting June 22, and organizers said those tickets will "sell out fast."

"While dressing up in 70s attire is optional, we encourage you to join us in celebrating the era of great music and fashion," a news release reads.
