"My family and I want to send love, gratitude, and appreciation to the East Haven Fire Department and the Paramedics who came yesterday to help my Nonnie. They were beyond patient, professional, and demonstrated compassion for her.

My Nonnie passed out and fell between her doorway. Due to her injuries they were so concerned about taking her up the stairs. They removed her AC unit and took her out the basement window. Then put the unit back in so her precious cat would not get out.

Luckily, she only broke her lower femur above her knee replacement and will need surgery. This could have been a lot worse at 85.

In today’s world, we don’t stop and give the gratitude where it is deserved. Again, we thank you, the Marquis family."
