EAST HAVEN, CT - The East Haven Rotary Club, which is now celebrating its 80th anniversary, recently awarded their annual Joseph Buonome Memorial Public Safety Awards. This year the club recognized East Haven Firefighter Ronald Rascati and East Haven Police Officer Dave Torello. As is customary, the awards were presented at the Rotary's annual Installation of Officers Dinner, which this year was held on Thursday June 27th. The event took place at Seasons Banquet Facility in East Haven. East Haven State Representative from the 99th District Joseph Zullo presented two State Legislative Citations to this year's honorees.
