East Haven Firefighter Wins Prestigious MDA Award
He was chosen over all nominees from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, New York and New Jersey.
EAST HAVEN, CT - Congratulations to FF Joseph Ciscone on being the recipient of the prestigious A. Michael “Mickey” Mullane award at the annual MDA Boot Camp at Mohegan Sun yesterday.
He was chosen over nominees from the IAFF 3rd District consisting of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and the IAFF 1st District consisting of New York and New Jersey.
Ciscone was awarded for his more than quarter-century of efforts on behalf of adults and children living with muscular dystrophy.
