East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band Takes First Place in Class 2A Competition
The first-place achievement comes at a third, consecutive week.

From East Haven High School:
The East Haven High School Co-op Marching Band took first place in Class 2A competition for the third straight week at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, CT on Saturday, October 8th. They earned a score of 83.025, with special caption awards for Best Color Guard, Best Music, Best Visual, Best Percussion and Best Overall Effect. The band's scores continue to improve every week and this week saw a very special additional award of Best Pit Crew.
The Pit Crew is a group of parents and former band members who, among many other things, get the band's equipment and props onto and off of the competition field, making sure things go off without a hitch. This special award recognized the dedication, hard work and enthusiasm shown by the band's Pit Crew.
