EAST HAVEN, CT - After a long search, the school system has hired a new assistant superintendent of schools.Stafford curriculum and instructional coordinator Jennifer Murrihy was recently hired by a 7-1 vote of the Board of Education.She will be replacing Erica Forti in the position.Forti was promoted to the top job - superintendent - last year to replace Dr. Portia Bonner, whose contract was not renewed by the school board.
