The East Haven Rotary Club Hosts Shred-It Day Fundraiser
The Shred-It Day fundraiser will be on May 13 and will shred each copy sized paper box for $10, all proceeds will go to the rotary club.
From The East Haven Rotary Club:The East Haven Rotary Club, which is now celebrating its 78th year, will be holding a Shred-It Day Fundraiser on Saturday, May 13th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Town Hall parking lot, located at 250 Main Street. The cost is $10.00 for each copy paper sized box; members of the Rotary Club will be on hand to assist. All proceeds will be used to help fund the club’s many community activities.
The club now was organized on March 3, 1939 and since that time the club has remained dedicated and committed to improving the community and citizens of East Haven. Through its annual scholarship program and Student of the Month, the club recognizes and encourages achievement of high school students. Amber Alert Identification Cards, Clothe the Children, free Thanksgiving dinner and Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Bunny for children are some of its other volunteer activities.
