East Haven Rotary Held Its 24th Annual Ben Mazzucco Clothe the Children Project At Kohls

Children, recommended by East Haven school administrators, shopped with their families for essential clothing items, funded by donations.

EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Rotary Club’s 24th Annual 'Ben Mazzucco Clothe the Children' project again helped clothe 100 East Haven schoolchildren.

Held at Kohl’s in Branford, the "heartwarming initiative" is supported by Rotarians, local schools, and community donations.

Families and children, recommended by school administrators, shopped for essential clothing items, purchased with funds raised by the Rotary Club and local contributors.

To date, the initiative has provided over $200,000 worth of clothing to local families in need.

"A huge thank you to Chairperson Tammy Afragola, Rotary fundraiser events, local businesses, and the amazing 'kids helping kids' fundraising efforts from East Haven’s schools," the Rotary noted on Facebook. "Your generosity and hard work make a real difference in the lives of these children."
