East Haven Taxes Due On July 1

From the East Haven Tax Office: The Tax Department reminds residents and businesses, the new Tax Bills will be coming out at the end of June. The first half installment will be due on July 1, 2017 and can be paid through the month of July without penalty. August 1, 2017 is the deadline.

Between June 19th and August 4th , the Tax Office will not be able to do DMV Releases immediately. We will update DMV files every afternoon and DMV will update files at midnight. Obtaining releases may take from 24 hours to 10 days, depending on the type of payment received (cash, check, credit card, e-check), where you make the payment (mail, office, online), and when payment is received. Please plan accordingly if you need to register or renew registration on your vehicle!

Checks can be made payable to, Tax Collector-East Haven, Please have your phone number on the check. Credit cards are now accepted in the office as well as online. Convenience Fees will apply.

The Tax Office is open Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Extended hours will be on Saturday July 29th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
