East Haven Town Employees Make $270 Donation to Animal Shelter

A Halloween fundraiser by town employees raised funds to defray costs the animal shelter incurred caring for dogs displaced by Hurricane.

EAST HAVEN, CT - On October 31, 2018, Town Hall employees held a fundraiser for the East Haven Animal Shelter to help offset the costs of care of the dogs from the Carolinas.

Employees wore costumes in celebration of “Halloween” and made a generous contribution for the shelter.

Mayor Maturo extends his appreciation to the employees for their donations and for the impressive costume display.

The Mayor stated that “the employees showed great comradery for such a good cause and it makes us proud of our Town and of the employees that serve our residents!”
