East Haven's Dontaye Cited As Star Student: Here’s Why

EAST HAVEN, CT — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Currently plays 3 basketball teams, maintains high honors, plays & trains for his baseball teams on a local and statewide level. Has received numerous awards and recognition for being kind, determined and an overall great student. Dontaye is a Kind, funny, smart and over well rounded multi-sport athlete that continues to demonstrate hard work, determination and good morals.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Despite being a phenomenal multi sport athlete, Dontaye is an incredible person and student who is humble, kind & compassionate.
