EHFD Knocks Down Nighttime Fire In Momauguin Dry Cleaning Business

EAST HAVEN, CT — At around 9:30 Monday night, East Haven Public Safety was alerted to an activated fire alarm at a commercial dry cleaning service on Commerce Street in the Momauguin neighborhood of town, East Haven Firefighters Local 1205 reported on Facebook.

When firefighters arrived, "companies found a fire condition within the dry cleaning business."

"Members worked to gain access to the business and extinguish the blaze," firefighters posted. "No injuries were reported, and the incident was then turned over to the East Haven Fire Marshals office for investigation."
