She loved sports, especially football, and was a devoted New York Giants fan. She enjoyed swimming and spent many years working at Yale University, where she took pride in her work and the community around her. She was an active member of a local singing group and found joy in connecting with others through music. She also belonged to the Hagaman Memorial Library Book Club, where her love of reading and conversation shined.

She cherished quick getaways to Las Vegas and loved dining out at great restaurants, with Jalapeño Heaven holding a special place in her heart. Savin Rock was another place she deeply loved, filled with memories she held close. Above all else, she cherished her children beyond words—they were the center of her life and her greatest joy.
