It's Almost January, So Landfill Moves To Winter Schedule

EAST HAVEN, CT —For the months of January and February, the East Haven landfill operates on a winter schedule. Still open every Friday, but Saturdays are staggered. So, it will be open on Jan. 20, 2023, the third Saturday in the month. And, on the third Saturday in February, the 17th.

The landfill is not open on holidays or on days when holidays are observed.

In March, the landfill returns to regular hours.

Please check back for closings, or call the Public Works Department for up-to-date information.
Passes are no longer needed; residents may go directly to the landfill. Debit and credit are the forms of payment accepted.
