Last Week To Apply For A Raised Bed In East Haven Community Garden

EAST HAVEN, CT — If you enjoy gardening, or want to learn how, but don't have the space, the East Haven Community Garden wants you.

The Community Garden has individual raised bed plots, individual elevated plots for the elderly and disabled community, and a cooperative opportunity area.

Importantly, this is the last week for new sign-ups before additional garden plots are offered to current members. The garden's Co-Op area does still have several openings for those who’d like to garden as a group. On the Facebook garden's Facebook public discussion page, it's noted that there are not many spots left.

The garden, located at 39 Moulthop St., officially opens next Tuesday, April 1.
