Local Firm Looking for Accountant/Business Valuation Specialist

Burzenski & Company of East Haven is looking for an Accountant/Business Valuation Specialist for their CPA firm.

They are seeking an accountant with strong interest or experience in Business Valuation Projects to join their growing firm. 

Qualifications:

.       Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

.       Strong interest or experience in business valuation

.       ABV or CVA valuation credentials are a plus

.       CPA certificate or working towards license

.       5+ years of proven experience in public accounting

.       Must have strong analytical skills

.       Decision making ability

.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

.       Team oriented

Responsibilities:

.       Appraising small to mid-market closely-held businesses for transaction related purposes

.       Work closely with and directly communicate with partners, managers, staff, in addition to client personnel

.       Deliver Quality service

.       Develop staff in business valuation area
