FOUND: Joey the Dog Happily Reunited with His Family

The 4-year-old Lhasa Apso went missing Monday morning from his home in the North High Street and Corbin Road area. But on Thursday morning: he was found.

Update at 7:25 a.m. on Thursday

After several days of searching, and weather that included a major snowstorm and frigidly cold temperatures, Joey the dog has been found — and happily reunited with his East Haven family.

An East Haven Public Schools bus driver reported to police earlier this morning that they saw the 4-year-old Lhasa Apso wandering along Strong Street.

A short time later, he was thankfully located and safely recovered near intersection of Russo and Strong streets.

His family reports although he is understandably quite cold, he is healthy and well.

Thank you to everyone who shared this post to help spread the word. Because Joey is now safe and sound — and home in his family's warm arms.
