Man Fled From East Haven Cops - Twice; Public's Help Needed: PD

East Haven Police Department holds two active arrest warrants for Devon Colon, 25. He also has two active Violation of probation warrants

EAST HAVEN, CT — East Haven police say they are seeking the public's help in finding a man who twice has fled from them - once in 2018 and once earlier this year.

The East Haven Police Department currently holds two active arrest warrants for Devon Colon, 25, police said. He also has two active Violation of Probation Warrants.

On May 2, 2018 Colon fled from a motor vehicle stop after he was pulled over for speeding, police said. After providing officers with a fake name, Colon, who had a female passenger and child in the car, fled the motor vehicle stop at a high rate of speed as the officer walked back to his cruiser, police said. Because of the presence of a child in the vehicle, the officer did not pursue Colon, police said.
