Maureen (Draper) O'Dea obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Maureen (Draper) O’Dea, 66 of East Haven passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at CT Hospice in Branford. She was born October 20, 1959 in New Haven to Arthur and Mary (Mazzola) Draper. Maureen is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Patrick O’Dea and three step-daughters; Corinne Thomas (Donald) of Orange, Melissa Cianciullo (Joseph) of Orange and Patricia O’Dea of East Haven along with eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Roger Draper (Regina) of SC, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Maureen is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jonathan Draper and her many “fur babies.”
Raised in New Haven, Maureen had a heart of gold and was a devoted cat lover and wife to Patrick. She was a die-hard NY Giants and Yankees fan. One of her favorite things to do was curl up on the couch with her husband and watch a good game.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday December 30, 2025 from 4 PM until the time of service at 6:30 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.
